What We Do

Structured, peer-based supportive housing - not a treatment center.

Overcomers provides a safe, structured living environment for adults in recovery or reentry. We focus on stability: clear routines, accountability, peer support, and practical next steps - so residents can get back on their feet without the chaos.

We are not a medical program, therapy practice, or detox center. If someone needs clinical care, we help connect them to licensed providers.

Structure & routine

Clear house rules, curfews, chore rotations, and a weekly schedule. Reducing chaos and building consistency is how residents start to feel stable again.

Peer support & accountability

Residents live together in a respectful community. Weekly house meetings, check-ins, and shared goals keep everyone moving forward - one day at a time.

Life-skills workshops

Budgeting, job search, email and phone basics, time management, and practical routines. Small groups, easy language, step-by-step format.

Employment pathway

Job readiness support and opportunities through local partnerships - including Lumpia Bros Cafe in Grover Beach. Structured work experience for residents who are ready.

Reentry planning

Step-by-step help with schedules, paperwork, appointments, and getting back into the flow of life. We help residents build a realistic plan for what comes next.

Family & youth support

Simple resources and guidance for families navigating recovery together. Age-appropriate, easy-to-understand information for kids and parents.
